IF is in for a new period of stability with a change of publisher to UPD Corp. as of July, 1969, although it went bimonthly as of the May-June 1970 issue. Jack Gaughan does almost all covers and art for Galaxy, IF, Worlds of Fantasy and Worlds of Tomorrow, giving them a very consistent and recognizable look. Gaughan had just won his 3rd professional artist Hugo in a row, and has enough range and possible styles to handle any kind of story- without looking too similar |
