Worlds of IF - Science Fiction: June 1967 Volume 17, No. 6 Novelettes: "Wizard's World" by Andre Norton Serial: "Spaceman!" (Part 2 of 3) by Keith Laumer (book title was Galactic Odyssey) Stories: "Berserker's Prey" by Fred Saberhagen ("Berserker" series) Edited by Frederik Pohl; Judy-Lynn Benjamin is Associate editor. Fandom column by Lin Carter. With Pohl at the helm (who also edited the sister magazines Galaxy and Worlds of Tomorrow), the lineup of authors is starting to look like a "Who's Who" of SF. Small wonder that this is the second of 3 consecutive years that IF wins the Hugo award for "best magazine" (in 1966, 1967 and 1968 - each for the previous year.) |
