Tight and almost square; spine is flat but shows a bit of texture due to glue shrinkage. Very light overall wear. Age-tanning is less than average for its vintage. No stamps, marks or writing.

"In the Bone" by Gordon R. Dickson

Serials: "Snow White and the Giants" (Part 1 of 4) by J. T. McIntosh

Edited by Frederik Pohl; Judy-Lynn Benjamin is Associate editor. Fandom column by Lin Carter. With Pohl at the helm (who also edited the sister magazines Galaxy and Worlds of Tomorrow), the lineup of authors is starting to look like a "Who's Who" of SF. Stories from Saberhagen's "Berserker" series and Niven's "Known Space" were nominated for Hugo awards - Niven's "Neutron Star" from the October, 1966 issue is the 1967 Short Story winner (and the first of 6 "Known Space" stories in a span of 7 issues.) Small wonder that this is the second of 3 consecutive years that IF wins the Hugo award for "best magazine" (in 1966, 1967 and 1968 - each for the previous year.)
