Tight and square; spine is flat, with wear to top 1/2". There is a 3/8" strip along top edge of front cover which is faintly dotted or speckled (as if just that portion was sticking out from a stack which protected the rest of the cover.) Back cover has 1/2" area at middle right where staple has worn through the cover. Top of contents-page has 1" tear and 2 associated fold-traces. Age-tanning is less than average for its vintage. No stamps, marks or writing. [The faults listed do not take much away from the good impression made by the squareness and minimal age tanning.]
