Tight and almost square / flat spine. Line next to spine, and there is a slight upcurl towards spine - otherwise very nice, with a clean, bright appearance. Age-tanning is average for its vintage, or a little less. Number "8" written in ink at top right of cover (below the 35 cent price); no stamps or other writing.
