Tight and square; spine is flat (but slightly uneven due to glue shrinkage.) Light to moderate wear, but both covers show a faint stain-trace: a "high-water" mark about 1/2" away from spine (no sign on interior pages - only on insides of cover.) Age-tanning is less than average for its vintage: mild to moderate and uniform. No writing, stamps or marks..
