GALAXY 1962,August

Tight and almost square; spine is essentially flat (any contour is lost in the artwork which wraps around from front.) Front cover has price written at upper right corner and faint line next to spine - otherwise very nice. Back cover has 1-1/2" fold trace at upper left corner and light overall wear. Age tanning is a little less than average for its vintage. No stamps, marks or writing.

[One of my favorites - strongly recommended; winner of the Hugo award. Jack Gaughan supplied a map and 9 great illustrations - ranging from portraits of the various "Basics" to a double-page spread (which the cover is adapted from.)]

Frederik Pohl's editorial is "Which Way is Progress?" [Finally as "Editor" on the masthead.] Book reviews by Floyd C. Gale.
