MAGAZINE OF F&SF 1956,December

Tight and almost square; flat spine. Age-tanning of pages is noticeably less than usual for this vintage. The covers must be printed on a different stock than usual: the insides show more age darkening than any I've seen for this decade - but the outsides have the usual matte finish that resists wear and aging.

The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction: December 1956 (Volume 11, Number 6)
Illustrations for the serial + cover by Kelly Freas (the 3rd of 3 covers for "The Door Into Summer." )

"The Door Into Summer" (conclusion) by Robert A. Heinlein (one of his very best, in my opinion...)
Stories: "Stranger Station" by Damon Knight (novelet)
"First Lesson" by Mildred Clingerman
"Full Circle" (verse) by Dorothy Cowled Pinkney
"Gandolphus" by Anthony Boucher (reprint from ??? - "slightly expaned")
"The Red Wagon" by Jane Roberts
"The Apotheosis of Ki" by Miriam Allen DeFord
"Venture to the Moon" (I: "The Startin Line" + II: "Robin Hood, F.R.S.") by Arthur C. Clarke [reprinted from a London newspaper series with different titles - in 1956]
"And Now the News…" by Theodore Sturgeon.

Joseph W. Ferman is Publisher, Anthony Boucher is Editor; "Science Screen" by Charles Beaumont.
