Tight and almost square (square at bottom, 1/8" tilt at top); spine is flat with tiny scrape near top, 1/2" split at join of cover next to top of spine, and wear to bottom 1/4" (all are minor defects.) 1/2" tear and fold-trace at upper left corner of back cover; otherwise very little wear. Age-tanning is slightly less than usual for this vintage.
