A "publisher's note" at the bottom of the first-page blurb notes that sections were improved by the author in 1977. I read the 1965 version and liked it. In particular, I liked the idea that the book didn't end with the triumphant return of explorers to the Solar sytem - but continued with the sort of reception that those who stole a starship might get.
