THE MAGIC MAN and Other Science Fantasy Stories - the fourth collection by Charles Beaumont. I consider this part of the "second generation" of Beaumont collections since it collects no stories for the first time, but is built from stories first collected in The Hunger (1957), Yonder (1958), and Night Ride (1960.) Good luck finding any of those at a reasonable price. Since many (but not all) of these show up in later "Best of" or "Selected Stories" collections by Beaumont, you could consider this the first attempt at a best-of survey, and take it as a good introduction to Beaumont's work.
