The Queen of Air and Darkness
Home - (original title = "The Disinherited")
Our Many Roads to the Stars (article)

Original appearances from 1966 to 1975. The first 4 (previously uncollected) are continuations of the series begun in 1959 with "Robin Hood's Barn" and collected in Orbit Unlimited. These are from the Continuum antholgy series (1974) and, in my opinion, are better than the first set - some of the best of Anderson's output in the Seventies. Other sources are Magazine of F&SF, Orbit 1 Galaxy. "The Queen of Air and Darkness" won both the Nebula award for best novelette and Hugo award for best novella (and has appeared in at least 6 Poul Anderson collections.)
