1965 1st Paperback Gray Morrow .40 VG+ to near-Fine
Ace (F-335) 1965 paperback. Cover by Gray Morrow, 160 pages, 40 cent cover price. Condition is VG+ to near-Fine: tight and square with flat spine; age-tanning is mild and uniform (insides of covers are darker.) Faint price-trace impression at upper right of first page - no other marks, stamps or writing inside. At the bottom-left of front cover (1/2" by 1") and bottom right of back covers (1/2" by 1/2") are ink-residue marks made by close contact with another book - which transferred some ink to this book. These do not appear to be erasible, but are relatively minor flaws compared to the otherwise excellent condition.
The Second Atlantis, by Robert Moore Williams. Who would build a civilization upon a huge crack in the world's surface? The Californians did - setting up famous cities and homes along the line of the San Andreas fault. In an hour-by hour account, this is the story of another Atlantis - when the seas sweep in to swallow another mighty land. |
