Let the Fire Fall (1969) - An alien spaceship lands in an Ohio cornfield. Within days, the visitors died, leaving behing their gigantic ship, the question of where they came from, and one newborn, human-looking baby boy. The Star Child caused an international furor over who should raise him. Another child was born the same night - the illigitimate son of Obie Cox. Obie claimed to be the first man to reach the spaceship after it landed, and founded the Voice of God Church. Unimportant at the time, it would become the cause of violent riots and deadly revolution as America divided into 2 factions - those who believed the divine words of Obie Cox, and those who did not.
