The Armageddon Inheritance: Colin has become governer of Earth, and heads off to look for traces of the old Empire that built the Moon-sized ship Dahak. He is going to need all the help he can get, for the Achuutani Horde is making another sweep through the galaxy - wiping out all intelligent life, and they will reach the Solar System in 2 years. Meanwhile on Earth, the survivors of the Imperial mutiny (50,000 years ago) must combine the forces of all governments on the planet to build defenses for Earth: not an easy task, but the scout force of the Achuutani - thousands of ships, each 20 kilometers long - will arrive before Colin can possibly return. And Colin, when he finds that the Empire he so desparately needed had fallen, must think of some way to revive what remains.
