Very tight and square with flat spine - obviously unread. Age tanning is very mild and uniform - better than expected for its age. Condition is exceptional for a book of this vintage.

New Writings in SF - 3: an original anthology of SF stories, edited by John Carnell. NEW WRITINGS IN SF was a British original-anthology series started in 1964 by John Carnell when he ceased as editor of New Worlds (which he founded in 1946 and edited for 141 issues - over 18 years.) Carnell edited the first 21 volumes, and Kenneth Bulmer took over after his death with #22-30. Editorial policy was similar to Carnell's New Worlds period, including a willingness to publish and support new writers.
