Operation Time Search - Ex-paratrooper and photographer Ray Osborne is catapulted back in time when he investigated a hush-hush operation near an Indian mound. He is sent so far back that the outlines of the continents are different, ending up on the shore of the Inland Sea. He is soon captured by sea-raiders and thrown in with a companion who can speak to him- by telepathy. From the Murian, Cho, he learns they are captives of the corrupt city-state of Atlantis, which has begun a war of annihilation against Mu. Helping Cho escape, he throws in with the Murians after becoming aware that he could not stay appart from the struggle - not knowing the key part Fate had reserved for him...

A stand-alone novel, which I recommend (when I had to pick only 3 of my books by Norton to get autographed, this is one of the titles I chose.)
