This cover art with white background is DiFate's second for this book - with signature visible at bottom right along with '81 (date: 1981? - probably introduced with the 1982 fourth printing Ace paperback.) The original art was a wraparound with brown background on the 1978 Ridley-Enslow hardcover and (at least) the first 2 Ace paperback printings (beginning in 1977, with $1.50, $1.75 cover-price.)

Original appearances from 1973 to 1975 - in Analog (5), Vertex. "The Centipede's Dilemma," "Just Dessert" and "The Wonderful Conspiracy" appear to be new to the 1977 Ace edition. "The Guy with the Eyes" was his first SF story. "The Time-Traveler" is the one that got me to notice Spider Robinson and search out his stories.
