Tight and almost square with flat spine (top has slight tilt, bottom has reverse tilt from storage) - this looks unread. Extra stamp on top page block.

Original appearances from 1973 to 1981 - in Analog (3), Future Pastimes, Faster Than Light, BINARY STAR 5. Most of these had previously appeared in earlier Martin collections, but "Weekend in a War Zone" and "Nor the Many Colored Fires of a Star Ring" did not (and these are somewhat hard to find.) The title short novel is the longer version from the 1981 BINARY STAR 5 appearance - not the shorter version which was the April 1980 cover story in Analog. "Override" is one of my favorite stories by Martin.
