The Many Worlds of Science Fiction, edited by Ben Bova. A (mostly) original anthology - the Norton story is a reprint, all other stories new to this 1971 anthology.

(Introduction by Ben Bova)
"The Blue Mouse” by Gene Wolfe
"Hot Potato" by Burt K. Filer
"All Cats Are Gray" by Andre Norton
"The Law-Twister Shorty" by Gordon R. Dickson
"Three Blind Mice" by Keith Laumer
"Daughter" by Anne McCaffrey
"Something Wild is Loose" by Robert Silverberg
"Silent in Gehenna" by Harlan Ellison.

Bova got some top authors - with good stories. I'm usually disappointed by the overall quality of original anthologies - this one defies that rule. I particularly recommend the stories by Norton, Dickson, Laumer, Silverberg, and Ellison.
