Volume 2 of a series which collects all of Howard's work from WEIRD TALES - in order of publication. Do not confuse this book with The Moon of Skulls - a 1969 Centaur Press collection of 3 "Solomon Kane" novelets (which was a derivative of the 1968 small-press collection Red Shadows.)

(Introduction by Mark Finn)
Skull-Face
Dead Man's Hate (poem)
The Fearsome Touch of Death
A Song Out of Midian (poem)
Shadows on the Road (poem)
The Moon of Skulls
The Hills of the Dead
Black Chant Imperial (poem)
The Voice of El-lil

All stories entirely by Robert E. Howard; selection of stories by Paul Herman. All but one of these appeared in Weird Tales between October 1929 and September 1930 (2 of them were serials); "The Voice of El-lil" was from Oriental Stories October-November 1930.

Copyright 2005 (first "paperback"/trade-pb printing January 2006), this is Volume 2 of "The Weird Works of Robert E. Howard" (front cover, bottom.) Note that the 2007 mass-market paperback of People of the Dark from the same publisher is also subtitled "The Weird Works of Robert E. Howard Volume Two" - even though the 3rd volume in the trade-pb set is has that same title. Maybe they only reprinted a few of the volumes from the Trade-paperback set, and re-numbered them for mass-market pb?
